Something I’ve always thought about is how many franchises from the NES era have been left completely dormant for nearly four decades. (Why isn’t Nintendo using their IP?) That said, if you were to pick one, which do you think could receive a modern entry which really shakes up and reimagines the formula of these abandoned NES games? I personally would be very interested to see what Nintendo could possibly do in a modern Ice Climbers. You could have the duo exploring mountains and caves, fighting all sorts of ice enemies, in a fully 3D platformer. They could even introduce a new race of species exclusive to the Ice Climbers world, with villages and all the sorts.
