Your favorite game, what would you add in or take out from it to make it better?

Final Fantasy IX. I'd speed up the battles a bit in general. I like the traditional battle system, but it would benefit from a faster pace overall. Other than that it would all be nitpicking. For example, some of the characters story arcs could be expanded further rather than wrapping up as early as they do.
