Surgeon who had his legs removed to satisfy sexual interest jailed for fraud

In one of the weirder headlines I've come across recently, a surgeon in the UK froze his own legs cos he had a sexual obsession with wanting to be an amputee, then fraudulently claimed nearly 500,000 pounds in insurance. 

He was identified as part of an investigation into Marius Gustavson, who was jailed for life last year for running an extreme body modification ring that among other things carried out castration and penis removal.

A number of his former patients – including some who underwent amputations – now have concerns about their treatment.
