Likely though what I'm getting at is if the PS6 models release in 2027 or 2028 but just a few years later this sort of thing starts to take off in a big way then the PS6 could become obsolete way faster than most people are expecting. I don't think we're anywhere near to anything that can sit at home and do this kind of things at higher resolutions (Genie 3 is 720p/24fps) - think multiple H100 cards, so we're maybe even in thousands of TFLOPS and massive amounts of memory. That's why I think this will (eventually) come to streaming gaming services and not to dedicated home hardware, at least not any time soon.

It will be streamed first yeah though even then it could make traditional video game experiences seem quaint to people. Combine this with VR and so many people will be lost in their own curated worlds 24/7.
