Looking forward to Digital Foundry's coverage on this, considering they were very skeptical of this game running well on Switch 2.

I'm curious to see their take as well.  I watched a video and there is definitely a big hit to resolution and image quality.  But the little I saw seemed reasonable stable fps.  All things considered, not bad.

The game is pretty blurry on the other consoles too, so not too unexpected. Series S is running at a 1080p 30fps Dynamic resolution with FSR 3, and the internal resolution goes as low as 720p. PS5 and Series X in quality mode target a dynamic 1440p (internal as low as 1200p) and in performance mode a dynamic 1080p (800-900p internally.)

If I were to make a wild guess based on how other comparable handhelds have handled the game and how it looks in screenshots, Switch 2 is probably doing something like (dynamic 540p to 810p) -> 1080p in docked mode. This wouldn't be too far off from Series S in terms of average (or most common) perceivable image quality (given that DLSS 3 > FSR 3), but with lower lows.

Have no idea what handheld mode resolution could be, but wouldn't be surprised if it were sub-400p at points, given that handheld mode is roughly half of docked mode in peak GPU capacity.

So far John Linneman seems pretty impressed.
