Kidding, different strokes of different folks. I do think Skyward Sword is a great game, Ocarina is just one of the greatest of all time in my book. |
Ocarina was way better for its time, but I think SSword ultimately holds up better. Better dungeon design, better combat, better bosses. The only real advantage I see Ocarina having is better pacing.

The original on N64 maybe but playing both SS (Wii) and OoT (3DS) - you are wrong. SS' motion controls make me barf and OoT 3D QoL features blow SS away. |
My most recent playthrough was on Switch and N64 (via Nintendo 64 app on Switch).
Didn't mind the motion controls now, and don't remember having any issues on Wii either. They add a very much needed layer of depth to the combat which in OOT was a bit basic. Revolutionary in the mid 90s, but basic by today's standards.
I wanted to play on the Switch app cause I have an N64 controller. I have played the 3DS version, but I don't remember the changes to have been that excessive. The inventory management was a bit better especially since you could map the boots to buttons. And there was a hint system I think.
Next time I play through it, which probably won't be for a few years cause I'll probably replay other Zelda games first, I'll probably do the Master Quest version on 3DS. Maybe it will change my mind.
