Well shit… Hellblade 2 made doing a Dark Rot (permadeath in 4 deaths) playthrough a requirement for platinum. There goes a nice casual afternoon lol. Edit: so far I’m over half way through on my second run (DR mode) and can comfortably say this is so far the hardest plat I’ve attempted this year. Plaything the first run on hard definitely help prepare for it, even if DR mode is a step further on the difficulty scale. It’s not just not dying, you have to be careful not to get hit period as you don’t heal during combat and the hits will add up till the next straight kills you.
