Wrong.  Self sustained pride is part of their culture.  We shouldn't be bashing culture because it doesn't fit within our personal beliefs.

They are not part of the "dumb" group, because they aren't dumb.  Calling people dumb really isn't appropriate and doesn't add to the discussion.

How is it pride.  If you pay taxes to a government, you would believe your taxes is there to help you and your fellow man.  Maybe dumb is not the best term maybe uneducated is.  THe more uneducated a person is the easier they are lead because they lack the tools to know when they are being played.  Just like one person stated that by making someone believe another unworthy person is benefiting from their tax dollars, they are willing to give up those same benefits as long as it hurts that group.

Interesting enough isn't that exactly what we see in this ad.  When you go to other topics about this ad and see the discussions, a huge set of people are going to run out and purchase some jeans from American Eagle.  Not because they like the jeans or even have ever shopped their but because they believe it will somehow hurt the liberals.

That in itself is how the game is played.  If you make people believe they are hurting their enemy even though it goes against your own interest than you can take away some form of pride you did something.  Such mindset is so easily manipulated and it has worked for a very long time.
