For me, I am put off with the game cards. I like to own the full game at hand. I want the games to be forever in my collection. Then there's the pricing of these games. They are out of reach for me. S1 games did keep their value but they were still much cheaper when buying used from ebay. I feel over time. S2 games that have the full title on the card will more likely increase in price over time. Making it more difficult to collect them. The e-game cards could be cheaper used due to them not being in demand as much. But could be wrong there.
With Nintendo hardware, their consoles or handhelds have for so many over the years, become their secondary console. Like myself PS5 or Xbox would be the primary console in the home to play. Where the Nintendo console, you tend to play it for their own 1st party titles. So I dont believe that with the S2 3rd party titles are an advantage even with the better performance. If the switch 2 only had 3rd party, it would not sell.
My switch is hooked to the TV. I cant play games on handheld screens at all. So if its a 3rd party game, im playing it on my PS5, as it runs and look better..
Ive yet to purchase a S2 as Im not ready for it. As the games aren't there. And will I be able to afford them
