A brilliant coincidence that this happened to be Desi Lydic's week of hosting the show.

Funny that it takes a satire comedy show to sum up the controversy better than the majority of opinion and news site.  The Megan Kelly part sums up exactly how when something even have a hint of political meaning the story changes based on who it is targeted at.
