I am conflicted watching this.

On one hand, finally, the centrists Obama boys are joining the rest of us which is great, on the other hand, I say the rest of us because even people on the right have joined us before they did, the right wing bros podcasters spheres have been more outspoken than them on the issue, even Marjorie Taylor Greene has called it a genocide by now ffs. It just seems like they're saying it because the vibe has shifted. No principled positions whatsoever.

This is the same podcast that avoided the topic of Gaza like the plague during the elections. They had Kamala consultants on for hours after she lost, and not a single question was about Gaza when they absolutely should have asked "was it the right decision to tiptoe around the issue the way Kamala did?" because the answer is absolutely not, just look at how Mamdani won, not despite of, but because he's principled on the issue

And that is a lesson for the left here. What's the point of compromising and bowing down just to allow people like them to take the lead? The situation in Gaza and the West Bank was never a grey issue. It was never a conversation that required nuance or deep understanding of the ins and the outs. You were right to be upset and you were right to turn this issue into a moral test for your candidates and hold their feet to the fire over it. Now do it again and do it with every other issue that you care about. I'm including myself here as someone who has campaigned for Starmer's Labour (lol) and actively pushed people to vote for Kamala.
