Pokemon you catch in the main games (Sword/Sheild, Scarlet/Violet, Arceus, and ZA) are then transferred to Home for storage/trading or Champions for battle. I should have done a better job explaining but what I mean is that this notion of Pokemon not being able to sell well on Switch 2 bevause it doesn't look as good as other games on Switch 2 will backfire because thats not what sells this ip. Its a new pokemon game on Nintendo's newly released platform and it has a bundle. Switch 2 will lead. Framerate/resolution matter but not as much as you think because the majority of gameplay is in the battle whether its the storyline, PVE (terrain raid battles, or PVP. Although now that I think about it, the framerate/resolution will matter more in this game because we control the pokemon now in battle. Can't believe I forgot about that. That pushes Switch 2 even further actually due to the better performance. |
Still not explaining why Switch 2 will be the leading platform. If the average Pokemon fan doesn't care for graphics or performance, why would they spend 500 USD when they can spend only 80 and play the game in a console they already own? |
Its the same reason why we see it on the other consoles when a new platform releases. Its a new game on a new console and the appeal of Pokemon is in the creatures and nothing else. The other stuff people mention will never be a detriment/hinderence. The bundle will lead to this as well and some how people have forgotten that Pokemon is Nintendo's biggest opener, so this notion of people will not show up day one in droves because its "casual" doesn't fit. Switch 2 will be the biggest beneficiary because of all of this.
