2 things show the Switch1 is not done from a Nintendo perspective:
1) New Switch first parties games announced for 2026 in the last spring Direct
2) Switch2 gameshare works with Swith1
Clearly Nintendo is not ready to abandon the first gen Switch any time soon. On the contrary it seems to be part of its strategy for a while going forward.
