I made a prediction back in May 2021 that Switch could narrowly overtake the DS without exceeding my sales expectations.
For me the 155 million barrier was the seemingly magical mark I couldn’t see them breaking without something very unexpected.
Wouldn’t see it as time wasted if sales faded away somewhere just over 153.8 million or so.
Just a sign that both Nintendo and the market moved on to the new thing, which is needed eventually to keep this hobby going.
