Let's wait and see Americas' and Europe's June sales numbers for the Switch. That way, we can get an idea of how steep the Switch's sales fell during Switch 2's month launch.

Personally, I do think the Switch deserves the title of The Most Sold Console, but there's another reason I would like this to happen. I've been following Switch's trajectory since its launch. As it got good reputation among gamers and sales were good, a chance it could be the most sold console/reach the 160M became somewhat a possibility. There were moments of uncertainty and moments of certainty for this to happen. I think it would be a real bummer to have waited all these years and see the Switch falling just short of the 160M mark. I mean, I wanna testimony this historical moment, a console beating the 160M, becoming the most sold one.

As for "I saw this happening with the PS2", I disagree. Sony moviments has always been shady. First, it suddenly increased PS2's sales numbers so that it could pass DS's and become the most sold console (a record the DS had), and recently Sony did it again to get it to be above the 160M. And even if you consider it, I personally wasn't into video game sales back when the DS and PS2 got their final sales numbers defined (in the first instance in the case of the PS2 at least), so I would like to see it now with the Switch
