So I've been checking lately Steamdecks and handheld PC alternatives, and comparing them to the Switch, it is weird that none of the other platforms has adopted a joycon style system. I get this not being the rule due to costs, but I imagine having the controllers always attached to the system would be quite a pain if they ever break, plus joycons feel more convenient when playing docked. When the Switch came out and was an initial success, I imagined this would become the norm at a certain point, but I cannot recall any PC handheld system with joycon-style controllers. How come?

You know it deserves the GOTY.
