Better buying them from USA than doing nothing but I really can't hear that "Europe is stepping up" stuff anymore. Europe already paid MUCH more for this war and that with a weaker economy. European countries paid already more than 100 billion just for Ukrainian refugees. That's already as much as USA invested overall.
If you take everything into account, Europe "invested" probably 3x as much as USA and that with a weaker economy.
Europe does need to step up the military equipment deliveries but it shouldn't be a situation where USA does everything just to profit from this war but that's pretty much how it feels now. USA wants to sell billions of weaponry, USA wants raw material deals, USA wants this and that...
So yes, Europe needs to invest way more in weaponry but USA also needs to invest much more if we talk about what's possible for everyone.
