As you can see, 8 of the top 10 states by population lost are pretty safe Republican strongholds (Arizona being the only purple exception and Virginia being the only blue exception). While the % change is a fraction of 1% and would not be estimated to have any impact on Electoral College votes, if it had an impact it would predominantly harm Southern Republican states.Â

Nope, miss the big picture. Everyone from liberal states are already moving to republican states like Texas and Florida to increase their electoral votes so it doesn't matter. However, Liberal states are already taking huge hits and lost electoral votes last time. Looks like it is going to be even worse next time around lol.
That is what they get for screwing their citizens by making COL ridiculously high.
