I think you're misunderstanding "negligible", in 2020 it was literally zero difference. Maybe if you had a 2000 type election but that is by no means the norm. 

You also forgot about the many Americans who would vote Republican because the illegal immigrants are gone and can have high paying jobs that aren't downgraded in pay by illegals. Also, housing will become more affordable too.
