Doom, CoD, Oblivion, Minecraft would have charted regardless if MS bought them or not. CoD and Minecraft especially have charted for how many months in a row?

The only major difference is Forza Horizon 5. But right now is a slow time so any decent game should chart above GTA V.

Err.. that's not the point. Who made these games, and who bought who (and when) is irrelevant. The point is that this games ARE in Game Pass, and yet, Sony fans love to keep repeating (nonchalantly and shamelessly) the line: "There is nothing worth playing on GP". As if we couldn't see the games that they buy every single month.

No will to offend or even argue with you, but at least I personally disagree with you completely here.

All these games, exception being Forza, would have charted they way they've charted independently from as to whom they belonged to or would have been acquired by.

Microsoft now own them. And they publish them. And accurately portraying what happened here within the last 4 years is that from Redfall to Indiana Jones, all of these games were in on-going development by the time they were acquired.

One of some of Xbox' community members biggest tasks over the last years was or is to portray Call of Duty, Doom or Starfield as Microsoft's original IP. Which they are clearly not.

And regarding "GP has no games":

First of all, you clearly shouldn't put too much weight on what a very small but loud portion of any community is saying.

Second, objectively speaking, who is to say that the Game Pass catalogue or model MUST be appreciated by everyone?

You should allow people to decide what's best for them. And they clearly do. Wether it is subscribing to Game Pass. Or not.
