Why aren't you ready for a PC?
I built mine 2 years ago now, best gaming decision I have made |
- I prefer the console experience, the ease of use, plug and play with no troubleshooting or adjusting settings.
- I prefer the console ecosystem/UX.
- I don't think there's any point in me switching to PC right now when I have an Series X, to play all the same games on PC instead.
- I know nothing about PC hardware, GPU/CPU, AMD vs Intel, etc.
- I don't have a clue how much I'd have to spend for a (lets say Series X equivalent) PC.
- I don't have a clue about building my own PC and Tbh I would just use a PC Builder Site and before PCMR comes in and tells me I'm stupid and it will be more expensive and building my own PC is super easy, etc. Respectfully, I don't care, Lmao.
ROG Xbox Ally will be the most powerful handheld on the market, if Windows OS for Gaming isn't shit by its release then I will get that, I will use it to ease my way further into PC Gaming, I like Handhelds, I love my Switch which I mostly use in Handheld mode, but I still want the big TV screen experience and I want to do that without taking up my current PC. The rumoured Xbox/PC hybrid will remove most of my "issues" so I might as well wait for that. My current plan would be... - Continue using my Xbox Series X as normal, Game Pass and buying 3rd parties.
- Buy the ROG Xbox Ally X, that will be when I create a Steam account, I will use it mostly in handheld mode but I might try out docking it too, I will alternate between Game Pass/Play Anywhere titles and Steam for smaller titles + Some Sony titles, if the bigger Sony titles don't look like shit when docked, otherwise I will just probably exclusively play smaller titles on the ROG Xbox Ally X.
- Buy the Xbox/PC hybrid, I don't care who it comes from, whether Xbox or Asus, I will just buy whatever is the most powerful. If it's just a Windows PC but with the ease of use of a Console and feeling of one then great. From then on I will still use Game Pass but I will likely start buying non-Game Pass titles on Steam instead of Microsoft Store.
I have it all planned out, Lol. Plus I've got to buy a Switch 2 still and ROG Xbox Ally X this year. |
