You just don't hear so much about Steam because Valve isn't a public company releasing everything they do (or don't). When you look how they can't even be bothered to employ a few people to fight all that cheating in Counter Strike even though they make billions with their cases and keys and other stuff then yeah, I'm sure they also just work with the minimum of employees they need lol
