interesting, never meet an animist. Very interesting views of the world. I agree with the thought that all living objects have a life force behind them. I don't totally understand the belief that all natural accurances have life forces though, I have a hard time seeing a form of spiritual or universal energy causing a rock slide. Well, for your example of a rock slide. There's a universal energy that accompanies that rockslide but the "cause" is undoubtedly physics. The energy could potentially be good or bad but it's usually just neutral. All things being equal, the animistic influence will tend toward harmony.

 

interesting so its similar to the idea that for every good in the universe there is a bad or there is always an opposite energy or force. So black holes = there are white holes.
