There have been many post-launch patches for Cyberpunk on PS4/XBO and DF typically use the latest available version of a game for performance capture.

The Switch 2 will likely also improve with post-launch updates, as every other version of the game did.

Yes there was some post launch PS4 patching to get it  in decent enough shape to be put back on the store but apart from that CD Projekt basically gave up and  decided to (and I don't blame them) focus their optimisation efforts on the platforms that could better support the game going forward in Sony's case that being the PS4 Pro and PS5,so from my viewpoint rather than compare a game that was bad enough to be taken down from the store over it's issues. the Pro is a better alternative when it comes to a comparison.

this isn't me trying to throwing shade on the SW2, since I feel a PS4 Pro v Switch 2 comparison would have shown off the Switch 2 in an even better light since from what I have read apart from resolution the SW2 is ahead of the Pro in many of the tests.

It's still not in a good shape on PS4.

It's the spinning rust drive that is the biggest hindrance... Followed by a lack of Ram and a middling CPU.
If you upgrade your PS4 to an SSD, you can see a significant reduction in load times and better texture-transitions.

But, the PS4 is still only giving 5.5GB of Ram for games, so the fact they got the game running like they have is actually rather impressive.

The Switch 2 is just better adept at running more modern games with less of a penalty.
