According to CNN, the US told Iran that this is a "one and done" strike. Clearly trying to avoid retaliation and hoping Iran just accepts it. Maybe they do if they really have emptied the facilities out before the strike, if America has just bombed 3 empty facilities then Iran probably gains more by not retaliating and just moving their shit elsewhere but then again, Iran needs to show strength to maintain the regime.
