Sure, basically every tablet and phone can be handheld gaming devices with optional controllers. They're in a different category from the Switch 2/Steamdeck/Rog Ally though.
Hell, if someone was strong enough they could put their pc with the newest graphics card in their giant backpack and hook it up to a gas generator on wheels that's rolling behind them and use some HDMI output cables to connect their pc to a tablet with optional controllers and call that a handheld gaming device too.
But originally the conversation was about a handheld gaming device in the price range of the Switch 2 that blows the XSS out of the water. Not sure what a $2100 (according to the other poster) laptop/tablet combo device has to do with anything.
