I think it goes deeper than that. It's not only about all games available on PC, but also being more expensive and less convidative than on PCs. PCs were always better value than consoles in any given time, but now that difference is even more pronounced
The only reason why consoles still a thing is culture I guess
PS5 when released was good value (great tec and inexpensive), but after few years is a bit overpriced for what it offers. Problem is when released there were few games that really looked next gen. While those games are definitely coming eventually, it means your PS5 was essentially a "PS4 2.0" until those games
Nintendo "solved" this by tricking their customers, read: Not releasing their games on base Switch even when they clearly are Switch 1 games. I think Nintendo is more concerned with hardware sales than software
Sony however want to maximize software profits as results games like Horizon FW were released on PS4. Have Sony kept all their first party on PS5 the perception could have changed a bit
For PS6 all Sony games need to be exclusive, and they will need to release more A/AA games too. Even if they don't sell a lot, game that can break even for 1-2 million are fine
