A bit of trivia. The historical second Kingdom of Israel, the second temple of Jerusalem (and only archaeologically verified of the two temples), and the Kingdom of Judah were founded by the Iranian Achaemenid Empire. The leader who ended the Babylonian captivity and built the Kingdom is the Iranian Cyrus the Great, who is canonized in the Bible as the second great Messiah (David being the first). The Palestinian people are genetically descended from the original Jewish population of Israel - they mostly converted to Islam during the Islamic expansion while the majority of the modern Jewish people are those of the diaspora who did not convert, the Palestinian Jewish people are the native population who maintained their Jewish identity.
So, Netanyahu’s Likud regime are aiming to genocide the descendants of the biblical Jews and the civilization which created historical second Kingdom of Israel and the Kingdom of Judah.
Israel is a modern example of why ethnostates are based on bullshit and are genuinely horrible.
