Moreover, the part about PS4 following the same graph as PS5 is flat out wrong. PS5 fell behind for about 5 million at some point, exactly because of the supply problems before boosting back up when the supply situation improved.

Well, launch figures are out. Turns out it sold faster than any other console and the supply quantity was good. So yeah, who knew.
