I think I'd use it almost entirely as a Game Pass/Play Anywhere machine but I'd create a Steam account and go install Steam, I'm sure I'd be able to find a lot of interesting smaller titles on Steam which aren't on Xbox, and the odd cheeky Sony game

That really depends on the game. The more demanding the game, the lower the overall framerate will be. Grounded? Absolutely! Stalker 2? Not so much lol

Unless you're running a potato of a game, it would probably be best to target 60fps at the most. Mostly for it being a better target for the device to reach, but also for battery life. But of course with it being a PC, you can tweak graphical settings to help reach your desired framerate

Yes, Asus even offers their own first-party dock so you can hook the device up to a TV/Monitor. From what I've read up to this point, it's about as good of an experience as you can get. Aside from Windows being Windows I only have a Steam Deck, so I can't comment from a personal perspective.
