Yeah but tech prices drop far faster than inflation. That's why tech costs less today vs decades ago when including inflation. Inflation is hopeless against the very quick pace of tech advances.
Of course now we are seeing video game companies get greedy and reverse that trend, with just in a few years game prices having gone from $60 norm to $70-$80 now. It's unfortunate. Games absolutely have no reason to be costing more than $60 these days, except that it lets companies rake in way more profits.
