This new console feels like it comes from a totally different company to the Wii U, 3DS, Wii, DS, etc. Everything from the design language to the materials is night and day different. Even the new game cases are a bold aggressive design with bright red, as opposed to the blue/grey cases in the 7th and 8th gen. Heck, even compared to Switch 1 their whole approach feels more assertive and high end. |
This might be the first time ever (maybe besides SNES) where Nintendo is entering a generation with a solid sense of direction. Just keep making good games but now on stronger hardware. We don’t need PS5 specs; a beefed up PS4 is more than enough.
