The magnet connection is interesting.
The Switch-to-controller connection sucks for long term use, I have plenty of problems with mine disconnecting while playing, and when I first heard the rumor that Switch 2 would be magnets I was very concerned they were going in the wrong direction. But then when the system was revealed I thought it it had some lock mechanism for the controllers (a button on the back of the controller?) that would prevent flexion and accidentally pulling the controllers off the system, which made me lose my fears about the magnetic connection and then I loved the idea of the new magnet connections. But judging from the video, is there no locking behavior? That flexion does indeed not look great :/
