A cursory search for Sony Online Entertainment LLC reveals:
SOE LLC is a subsidiary of Sony Pictures Digital, which is a business segment of Sony Pictures, which fall under Sony Corporation.
So, the original assumption that MMOs are not part of the game division was correct, because there were no mentions of it in the financials.
Though it was also not mentioned in the Sony Pictures statements. However, with an approx. revenue of $150 million - it is a small segment of Sony Pictures still.
You were right though, that it is part of Sony Corp.
Therefore, the original analysis still stands.
