This is generally the point where I talk about how a new title dominated the lists this year but surprisingly, we only have a few new entries in the top 20. Resident Evil Requiem does take the highest debut slot though. Nintendo take over the top slot with Donkey Kong Country Bananza. Ninja Gaiden 4 makes its highest mark on the list so far at the number 3 spot. The Outer Worlds 2 and Kirby Air Ride both take big leaps, while Tony Hawk skates back onto the chart at number 10.
I did introduce a couple more abbreviations. Several games have slightly shifted their names over the years (from games like Project 007, Mario Kart 9, etc.) and others will have different names when they release (Cyberpunk 20?? and genDESIGN new game). So I've added "NN" for NEW NAME. In the Release dates list, I've also differentiated between titles that debuted as new entries and games that have been charting that we just got release dates for (Ninja Gaiden, Outer Worlds 2, Pokemon Z-A).

It is interesting seeing DK at the top for this month, while being featured on a completely different game that topped this chart last month. Out of the 11 games with release dates on the list, only 3 of them had a release date previously and made the top 10.
