Fear mongering to get even more people in countries like Germany to vote for political parties who are either pro Russia or at least against these kind of weapons for Ukraine. Too bad it also works because many people are just idiots who would rather live in slavery as to risk even a 1% chance of a direct confrontation with Russia.
It's also even after all these years still "funny" how Russia still tries to tell us how it's totally fine to bombard an European country with drones and rockets from Iran and North Korea while European countries can't support Ukraine lol
