Wallace was actually a Southern Democrat (except that he actually ran as an independent in 1968 because there was no way in hell the Democratic Party outside of the South was going to nominate him for anything), but Trump's first 100 days have been a Dixiecrat's wet-dream. He may be flailing on the international stage, but he's done a marvelous job of dismantling a half-century of civil rights reforms.
