Where is the hope? More empty gestures and things are only getting worse, deja vu. The shame watching the news every weekend fill me with knowing this is happening in real time as we continue to do nothing is a novel experience that I could've done without.

I also feel like people split hairs when it comes to Joe vs Donald when it comes to Gaza, both are fucking human trash, and it would do the left some favour to stop fooling themselves and stop associating with the egotistical guy who ran fully knowing he was going to lose to the other guy who everybody knew was going to making everything worse.

I hope both die of horrible aggressive cancer that seeps into their demented brains, 1 down, 1 to go.

True, it's looking more dire than ever. This is turning into a holodomor and Netanyahu has now made Trump's ethnic cleansing plan a condition to end the war.

Resistance inside in Israel is getting bigger though and the fallout of forcibly removing opposing voices in parliament is growing as well. Netanyahu has no future but he can still drag it out long enough to kill and displace another million+ people. He's dead set on at least halving the Gaza population.

However people in Israel have no desire to occupy the Gaza strip again, people are tired of committing genocide, more people refuse to go back to fighting. Israel is running out of willing reservists and losing more to PTSD every day. The Neo Zionist project is dead, Israel has no future the way its going. Yet can do so much more damage before the final collapse.

It's all too slow, too little, too late. So many people have already died and those that haven't have been traumatized and stunted. There are close to a million children in Gaza that will feel the effects of malnutrition for the rest of their lives, next to not having been to school in 2 years now. The genocide has in fact already completed, a whole generation of Palestinians destroyed.

However we can't give up hope. While their future will be a very difficult struggle even if the war ends today and aid gets flooded in, they are still alive now. Can't give up hope, it's not an option :(

Public pressure is the only reason limited aid is going in now. Yet so much more is needed. We already see the tide turning against the rise of fascism yet waiting for Trumps turn to end means death for millions. More public pressure is needed, much more. Public pressure is still increasing slowly, that's where the little bit of hope comes from. The Guardian now has a live page following the genocide

Israel-Gaza war live: children and elderly dying from starvation, minister warns, as dozens killed in overnight strikes

BBC and CNN are showing the reality on the ground more frequently despite still running apologist articles. Yet Netanyahu's are getting more outlandish and less effective by the day as well.

Politicians don't like to be associated with pictures of deliberately starving babies. They should all be hounded with the results of their inaction and cover for war criminals.
