Shame they still won't call out Trump though, they're framing it as if poor old Trump is being played and they can't stand for that, nobody disrespects Trump! As if he is some senile old man in a nursing home in need of defending, which is incredible framing considering he is the President of the United States, Lol. They'll never say the truth that Trump is a complete idiot being played by Putin, or simply, Trump is a Russian asset, they still have to give Trump an out but he won't take it, Republicans are still cowards for this reason.

The Vatican is a sovereign state, Italy has no jurisdiction over it, even if it did, Italy isn't going to arrest the President of Russia (sadly) even with them being part of the ICC. We've already seen multiple countries ignore the ICC for Netanyahu and that dude is far less relevant than Putin, Türkiye is also not part of the ICC so what was the excuse for not going to Türkiye for peace talks?

True but there's still zero chance Italy arrests him when he has an invite from the Pope himself, it would be a huge drama between Italy and The Vatican. They likely wouldn't arrest him even if it was Italy because it's peace talks and they need to entertain this horseshit for idiots who still believe Putin is negotiating in good faith. Obviously I'd rather he were just arrested, well, I'd rather much worse things happen to him. Any citizen who takes him down would be a hero.
