â–ªï¸The two-hour conversation on May 19 was so warm that neither Trump nor Putin wanted to hang up first. â–ªï¸European allies and the Ukrainian leadership felt that they had simply been given up. Without explanation, without a position — just silence.

â–ªï¸USA is no longer trying to be a mediator. All diplomatic initiatives have been put on hold. â–ªï¸Trump is now washing his hands of the matter and stepping aside. â–ªï¸After conversation with Putin, Trump publicly told reporters that he had not even mentioned the missile strikes on civilians in Ukraine.

How can Trump "ditch" Ukraine when he never supported Ukraine in the first place? Everything he did was about trying to get Ukraine to capitulate and give him unbridled access to Ukraine's resources?
"The two-hour conversation on May 19 was so warm that neither Trump nor Putin wanted to hang up first."
