US Officially Added To International Human Rights Watchlist Thanks To Trump

Thanks to Donald Trump’s repeated assault on our Constitutional freedoms, the United States has officially been added to an international human rights watchlist. The independent human rights group CIVICUS had announced last month that the US was on the verge of making the list, and now we’ve officially hit it. This is due mainly to Trump’s assault on the court system, the refusal to provide due process as required by law, the possibility of a loss of habeas corpus, and the repeated attacks on the freedom of the press.
