Both. Ill pay 80 or more for a game I really want, but Im not happy about it. Cut some content and make it 50 bucks.

But then they just add a $30 dlc and it's still $80. Then they realize that they can just cut even more content to resell as dlc. Then having a full launch  version of MKW costs $300. And even worse it's not complete on cart anymore. Not even close.
