I love it when you come up on a strange, optional boss you don't know the level of, nearly get wrecked in the first exchange, think you're cooked but decide to fight on anyway, then slowly start to figure the enemy out as you're juggling downed team members but doing better every time. Finally conquering those bosses through grit and adaptation is so rewarding.
