The bottom image is from Skyrim, if you clip out of bounds it allows you to go to where "Hammerfell" should be. The exact location in the bottom image, would be Taneth, which can be seen in Southern Hammerfell on maps above. That city in the distance must be Taneth. Lol. I don't know how I've never seen this, considering it would be Southern Hammerfell then I would assume they're doing all of Hammerfell so probably no High Rock at all, but may still include Iliac Bay as the Adamantine Tower is on the Isle of Balfiera, technically the Isles of Balfiera is High Rock Province though, Lol. Guess they could still include sailing for these small islands. Also explains why The Elder Scrolls Online is avoiding Hammerfell like a plague. |
I don't think the city in the distance can be Taneth. The camera in the teaser starts in the mountains with more (even taller) mountains to the left and then as the camera moves forward the scene opens to a bay of water with the mountains to the left, meaning the camera in the teaser would need to be moving towards Taneth on along the coast from the northwest to the southeast, but there are no mountains there where the camera in the teaser starts at, to the northwest of Taneth is green, even terrain.
On this map I showed with arrows the path the camera in the teaser would need to be moving on the match the teaser, and as you can see Taneth is not a good match. The more likely scenario is the 2nd arrow I put on the map, with the camera starting in some smaller mountains to the north of the Dragontail, and moving forward towards a view of the Illiac bay and Lainlyn or Sentinel being the city seen in the distance, with the tall range of mountains seen on the left side of the screen in the teaser being Dragontail, which is shown to be a long range in maps.
