I’m curious to see how Nintendo’s planning to deal with Smash Bros moving forward. With Sakurai having been focused on Kirby Air Riders as of recent, I’d imagine that must mean the next entry is going to either an entirely new studio, or is going on hiatus. (Which, yeah, >30mil on NSW for SSBUltimate is insane success…but Metroid was massive on SNES, and Zelda skipped Wii U (kinda). Nintendo is not shy on pressing the “hiatus” button w/ their major franchises.)
