Now explain why this doesn't apply to any other party chat on the other consoles and why one of your friends would do this to you? Maybe you spend too much time on YouTube and the internet seeking something to complain about without even understanding how this isn't even realistic and this youtuber is just seeking clicks from anyone that is more interested in being dishonest about Switch 2.
Edit: I'll go ahead and explain why this video is obviously dishonest. Gamechat on Switch 2 is Nintendo's version of party chat like on PS/Xbox. Party chat (PS/Xbox) and Gamechat (Switch 2) are the native chat solutions on the consoles. Technically party chat on PS/Xbox are free while Gamechat on Switch 2 is behind the NSO paywall ($20 yearly). However, Gamechat on Switch 2 also offers video chat and multiscreen sharing, while party chat on PS/Xbox doesnt offer video chat or multiscreen sharing. They relie on Discord and because Discord isnt native, its very curbersome to use compared to Gamechat being native to Switch 2 with a built in button.
Now back on topic, just like in party chat on PS/Xbox, random people online whether they are on your team or opponents aren't automatically added to your party chat. The chat with them is game chat (not to be confused with Switch 2's Gamechat). In game chat and party chat/Gamechat is completely seperate. It has to be because in game chat is provided by the third party themselves, which is why crossplay works to begin with. Our consoles are connecting to the third party voice channels to speak with each other no matter the console.
As for first party games like Mario Kart World, Nintendo could technically connect us all to the same Gamechat party but they would never do that because it wouldn't allow us to chat at all with people playing different games which it specially advertised because its a party chat ie something for your friends not randoms. Gamechat also has a limit of 12 people and 4 video chat/screensharing which doesn't fit the 24 players allowable in Mario Kart World. Again this is party chat, so someone doing that had to be your friend or joined your party via a friend like on PS/Xbox. It's also harder to be friends on Switch due to the friendcode requirement. Thats why this video is unrealistic, a random can't just join your Gamechat party.

It's a joke video. Why is every single post you make such an angry "how dare you say bad about nintendo" rant or accusing everyone who says something negative about nintendo of being trolls and console warriors, biased, disingenuous. Lighten the hell up lmao. You don't need to fight the fight so hard all the time.
Try just talking about fun games and not only fighting with everyone on the site.

How about you stop playing victim and accept the poster very well thought this was real or would you care to explain why the poster didnt respond saying such to begin with? I mean according to you, it's funny because it lied? You are only defending it for obvious reasons similar to the poster whom also bends over backwards to whine about something Nintendo and you are just playing victim to hide your defense for a fellow Nintendo distractor. It's funny to even see you trying to pitch this as my problem, when all I did was explain how this isn't real or likely to happen. I mean you seriously have an issue with me explaining this misinformation and how the poster completely misinterpreted the video? I wonder why lol? How about you prove this poster didn't think this was real? The poster obviously did based on what they posted.
Edit: The poster could have easily responded saying they knew it was a joke, which would have easily cleared up the confusion. I added all of what I added so they understood there was no reason to feel "dread" lol, because it wasn't real. Next time instead of being more concerned with protecting a fellow Nintendo distractor, you could atleast have the due diligence of understanding what you are defending to begin with.
