Gamestop has 256 gb cards for $60 and Sandisk had them on sale for $40 earlier this year. I would recommemd picking one up for now and upgrading your storage next year or after to a 512 gb card after the price has fallen. Your Switch comparison is ridulous because AAA third party games were no where to be found.
Switch 2 has pros and cons just like PS and Xbox. Storage is more expensive due to being portable but NSO is also significantly cheaper than PSN and Xbox live. Switch 2 has two controllers (most multiplayer games can be played with just one joycon) along with Switch 1 controllers can be used to play Switch 2 games.
