I was going to buy the new Pro controller but, with it lacking Hall Effect, I will stick with the Pro I am currently using on my Switch. I will buy the console before prices go up. I can only see this helping sales out of the gate in the USA. People that were on the fence may buy earlier to avoid a higher priced Switch 2 later. If prices do go up due to tariffs it might hurt the consoles legs in the first half of its life. I imagine the next US administration will run on curbing inflation by backing off of tariffs. If that turns out to be the case it will help with sales in the second half of its life but who knows where the momentum will be then...
