I mostly work as Data Scientist in a non-profit institute. In practice most of our clients are big private companies hiring us to do R&D projects
I'd say my work is 40% designing and training machine learning models, 30% writing data pipelines to provide information to my models and 30% deploying infrastructure and applications to make use of my models
