Switch 2 pre orders in USA & Canada delayed while Nintendo assesses new tariffs.

Of course it's difficult when there's still a sweeping 10% tariff on all countries right now. That's still significant enough to push up the RRP to $500.

Was there no tariff before? Is it possible that some type of tariff was always included in the $450.00 price?

Edit: @HyrulianScrolls I imagine they could just greatly reduce the amount of Switch 2 non bundled consoles and greatly favor the already $499.99 priced Mario Kart World bundles which are already favored per reports of pre-orders in other countries.
